college??

I was talking to my mom the other day and she asked me what I wanted to do for the rest of my life and it hit me as a shock. I have no idea what I want to do when I get older. I talked to her about my options and we narrowed it down. I really enjoy watching stupid law shows and love reading mystery books but I don’t know if that’s what I want to do.

I have thought on it for a long time now and it is still really blurry. I talked to my Uncle and he Told me that I should consider the coast guard because it could help me pay for college and it could give me experience. He said it was a great job for him and he has been in it for 14 years now and he is a general. With all the experience that he has under him now he can fulfill his life goal of being a law enforcer.

But I still don’t know what I will do. There are still so many options to choose from but I still have plenty of time to decide what to major in. I still think that I have to weigh my options because it is not an easy decision. I know I am not the only person who has to decide what to in college. It is the thing I am dreading most besides actually picking a college. So have a good day and choose wisely cause you might be doing it for a living.

Homecoming Week

What is the most hectic week of the year other than the last week of the year? I would say Homecoming week. There is just so much going on and on Friday we only have half of the school day. The second half is filled with games and socializing.

We get to dress up everyday and just have a good time.

Throughout the homecoming week we all get to dress up and joke around with each other. We get to dress up as cowboys, superhero’s then we had think pink and duct tape day. The last day we can just show school sprit and wear blue and white. At the last half of the day we play games such as dodge ball, egg toss, and we play tug of war.

So over all I think that homecoming week is a blast. Especially now that I am a senior because it is the last time I will have this week. The game Friday night is going to be awesome. I really hope that we win the game!! I hope I have just as much fun for homecoming in college.

Success

I think that success is all about your own perspective. There are so many ways to explain your success or the success of others. You can measure your success by your wealth, family, or even your own happiness. I don’t think that you should judge other peoples success. It is all about your choices and goals.

I think that it is time to make your goals and pick you career after high school. So that you can go to college get a major and work towards that goal. If your goal doesn’t include going to college and you just want to jump right into your job that is completely fine too. I am a senior and I still have no idea what I want to do with the rest of my life.

My idea about success is when I am old and retiring I want to look back on my life and get a sense of accomplishment. I want to feel like I made a difference in this world. When I pick a career and set my life goals, I want to have accomplished all of those goals and if I do accomplish them. Then I was successful.

Make Memories

I have been going to van meter ever sense 5th grade and it is a great feeling to know that I am now a senior and on my last year of high school. I was very jealous of my sister 2 years ago when she was a senior, and I always told her how I wish I could get out of high school. She always told me that high school was fun and that I will love the next few years of it, I didn’t believe her. But the truth of the matter is high school is supposed to be fun.

My sister is now a sophomore in college and tells me every time she sees me how much she misses high school. I believe her too. High school and senior year is a experience that I will most likely never forget. It’s more then just school. It is a time for you to hang out with your friends and enjoy the last months you have with each other. After high school everyone goes their separate ways. They go on with their lives whether it is going to play sports or just going to college, some people might just go right into the work force.

To be honest I think that when you’re a senior, taking college classes and figuring out what you are going to do for the next few years of your life. You need to get everything in line but also just have fun and enjoy the time you have with your friends. Because senior year is the last time you will be with everyone in your class at the same time so you just need to soak it all in cause when its over all you have left are memories.
